Hongkong Post will issue 6 sets of special stamps from January to June next year. Among them, some stamps show trees in four seasons in Hong Kong and the solar terms in summer among the 24 solar terms, and some stamps show popular toys in Hong Kong from the 1970s to 1980s. Members of the public can pre-order the relevant philatelic products at Hongkong Post’s online shopping mall “ThruThru.com” from now on.

Zodiac-themed special stamps (issued on January 10, 2023)

． Sui Ci Gui Mao (Year of the Rabbit)

A set of 4 stamps and a stamp sheetlet display traditional handicrafts in the shape of rabbits, implying good luck to the rabbits, celebrating the new year, and wishing the public good luck and prosperity in the coming year.

． Chinese Zodiac Gold and Silver Stamp Sheetlet – Lucky Tiger and Lucky Rabbit

The lucky tiger and lucky rabbit on the Zodiac stamps are made of silver foil and gold respectively, wishing citizens a prosperous season and a prosperous year.

． Silver Foil Hot Pressed Zodiac Stamps – Rat, Ox, Tiger, Rabbit

The stamps are printed with lithographic embossing and silver foil hot stamping techniques, making the animals of the Chinese zodiac shine and adding joy to the New Year.

． Chinese Zodiac Stamp Sheetlet

A set of 6 stamps showcases popular toys from the 1970s to 1980s, including recreational chess, spinning tops, alloy toys, rockets, rice cookers and robots, to reflect the flourishing development of the toy manufacturing industry, one of the four major industries in Hong Kong at that time.
